Overview
Develop and manage the THD retail sales budget, optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact and ensuring regular status communication to internal leadership.
As the leader of retail sales for THD in the US, this position is responsible for creating the strategy to drive sustainable profitable sales growth in LIXIL Americas retail product categories through the effective management of sales activities within the vertical. They will lead, direct and motivate a direct retail sales team focused on driving sales performance and ensuring client satisfaction. This position will require strategic and tactical thinking that grows share of wallet across LIXIL brands.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive retail sales growth strategy specific to THD that aligns with the company's mission and national sales strategy, targeting profitable sales across market segments, customer groups, and product categories
Create, lead and motivate a high-performance team capable of executing our mission, fostering strong customer relationships, and adeptly navigating economic and/or business-driven shifts requiring strategic pivots.
Establish and maintain strong, positive and trusting relationships with THD leadership and partners, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Build and direct THD planning activities by the team and ensure that plans are in place for top
stakeholders and decision-makers both internally and externally.
Collaborate with Brand, Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain and other cross-functional teams to ensure product offerings and inventory meet THD demands; identify trends, marketing intelligence and new product opportunities by fostering communication with these teams.
Implement and manage retail sales management systems and processes to measure all aspects of business including but not limited to sales, margin, profitability and other key performance metrics.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred with a minimum of six years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. MBA a plus.
Experience working with big-box home improvement retail/commercial sales is preferred.
Industry/basic plumbing knowledge an asset.
General Management mindset with strong leadership, strategic, analytical, business, planning, problem-solving and technical ability.
Demonstrated competence in account development, consultative selling, and negotiation skills.
Highly developed relationship building skills, ability to build credibility and influence within and outside the vertical.
Ability to effectively communicate orally or in written form with internal and external customers.
Aptitude for utilizing emerging technologies and working knowledge of Google Suite and SAP / CRM systems.
Ability to travel one to two overnight trips per month.
Hiring Range
The hiring range for Atlanta, GA is $139k to $184k annually. Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Other Compensation (if applicable): This role will be eligible to participate in the annual Sales Incentive Plan.
