Responsibilities : may include the following where applicable: • Primary trainer for Clamp Truck operators (new hires or retraining) • Root Cause investigations of product placement and Associate handling • Can identify and audit associate processes and then coach on improvement • Executes & provides process & project visibility to Operations Supervisor • Expert in warehouse functions • Leads & complies with Safety and Well Being efforts on assigned shift • Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets • Move materials within the warehouse • Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling) • Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system • Complete daily logs • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line • Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department • Uses computer to enter records • Maintains inventory records • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable) • Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
