Under the direction of the Assistant Retail Manager, the incumbent supervises Sales Associates and oversees the daily operation of assigned retail outlets. Assists guests with inquiries and the selection of merchandise, processes transactions, insures the retail outlet is stocked, protects company assets and insures the appearance of the facility is maintained to standards. Provides breaks for and possibly covers opening in stores as needed. High school diploma or GED required as well as a minimum of one (1) year retail experience. Must currently be in a Retail Associate position at Foxwoods for a minimum of 90 days. Must have the ability to speak, read, write and understand English and speak to customers effectively. Must possess a clear, speaking voice and good hearing to ensure effective communication. Required to become proficient with department specific computer systems and have knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to use basic mathematical skills when processing payments, deposits and conducting stock inventories. Must successfully complete a math test and writing sample. Must possess a personable, customer service attitude along with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast paced environment and possess ability to learn guest service techniques as required. Must possess tactful problem solving and resolution skills.
