OVERVIEW:
The Lead Retail Sales Associate has a critical role in upholding brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience. Working closely with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, you will be the in-store expert for the footwear department, focusing on exceptional customer service and providing guidance to your teammates. Your leadership will be characterized by empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in building a strong team through in-store interviews and department tours.
Foster a people-first culture by connecting with every teammate to build mutual trust and respect.
Plan and organize store operations 30-days in advance with manager guidance, ensuring daily assignments and projects are effectively executed.
Leverage team strengths to meet brand standards and execute daily tasks efficiently.
Uphold merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, and inventory presentation.
Support general supervision within the store, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Train new and current teammates on company procedures and programs, including onboarding and cross-training.
Prioritize coaching and development for yourself and others, guiding them through tasks and processes.
Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for teammates and customers alike.
Adhere to policies related to safety and loss prevention, maintaining confidentiality.
Contribute to a collaborative store atmosphere by supporting team members as needed.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Prior retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and lift items between 15 to 35 lbs repeatedly.
Capable of working extended periods (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
Ability to work at heights exceeding 4 feet using ladders or other lifting devices.
Perform repetitive motions for short durations (up to 2 hours).
