*Responsibilities*

* Prepare and chop ingredients according to recipes and specifications. * Assist in meal preparation by cooking, baking, or assembling dishes as directed by the head chef * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items. * Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and safety of all food products. * Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, mixers, and ovens safely and efficiently. * Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. * Help with inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying management of shortages.

*Skills*

* Proficient in food preparation techniques and culinary skills. * Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. * Ability to use kitchen tools and equipment effectively, particularly knives. * Experience working in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment is preferred. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation tasks. * Willingness to learn new cooking techniques and adapt to menu changes.
