We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Lead Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team and support our mission of excellence in implant and general dentistry.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to oversee and support the clinical team in delivering outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, organized, and experienced in surgical and prosthetic implant procedures. This leadership role will involve mentoring RDAs, managing clinical workflows, and ensuring compliance with dental regulations and protocols.
Requirements- Assist the doctor during a wide variety of procedures including full-mouth implant surgeries, restorations, and follow-ups.
- Lead, train, and mentor the dental assistant team to uphold clinical standards and deliver efficient, high-quality care.
- Prepare and maintain operatories and equipment, ensuring OSHA and infection control compliance.
- Take digital radiographs, impressions, intraoral scans, and assist with sedation cases as needed.
- Manage inventory and ordering of clinical supplies and materials.
- Coordinate with front office, lab, and surgical teams to streamline patient care and case flow.
- Support post-op patient education and instructions with empathy and attention to detail.
- Assist in onboarding and training of new RDAs and clinical staff.
- Promote a positive and professional environment, leading by example in patient care, punctuality, and teamwork.
- Active California RDA license
- 3+ years of dental assisting experience, preferably with surgical/implant procedures
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Nitrous oxide monitoring certification (preferred)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and sterilization protocols
- Experience with digital dental technologies (iTero, CBCT, Eaglesoft/Dentrix/Carestack) is a plus
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
- Competitive pay based on experience. Starting at $32 an hour DOE
