The wage for this position is $20/hr. Typical Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for the cost effective preparation of hot and cold food items using proper food handling procedures and maintain high standards of food safety. Must be able to follow recipes and spec sheets to ensure freshness and high quality food. Cleans kitchen areas and equipment and maintains our cleanliness and safety standards. Job Requirements: Passion for food and experience in a fast paced work environment Complete understanding of HACCP, sanitation, and food safety standards Uses established recipes and upholds AVI culinary standards Minimum of (1) year culinary experience Ability to read, write and communicate verbally Ability and willingness to follow instruction Extended standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling and kneeling and lifting up to 50 lbs. Excellent attendance Minimum of 1 year culinary work experience.
