Salary: $15-18 Depending on Experience

POSITION: Kitchen Steward


PART-TIME: 25-32 hours weekly w/ potential to lead into a FT position

SALARY: $15-18 Hourly

SUMMARY: THE SPRINGS CATERING division is seeking a hard working individual to work directly under the Head, Managing Chef in a high-volume, catering operation with opportunity to learn from the ground up. The success of the Steward will hinge upon their dependable character, willingness to learn and can-do attitude required for this position.

SCHEDULE:

Weekends w/ most shifts occurring FRI / SAT / SUN / MON and starting in the A.M.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Including but not limited to)

  • Reports to and takes direction Head, Managing Chef
  • Dishwashing
  • Assists in maintaining the organization and cleanliness of transport Vans.
  • Washing and folding linens
  • Assists with post-event clean-up
  • Light prep work in kitchen
  • Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
  • Participates and attends departmental meetings and training as appropriate.
  • Upholds high standards of product and customer service for self & team members.
  • Maintains professional relationships with Clients, associates & vendors.
  • Follows facility, department and Company safety policies and procedures.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • 1-2 years of Kitchen / hospitality preferred but not required
  • Listening and ability to execute order in timely manner
  • Follows the chain of command
  • Team Player and good attitude a must
  • Punctual and Dependable
  • Time management skills
  • Willingness to learn and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ambitious and hard working.


EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • All necessary Training will be supplied by Head Chef

COMPENSATION:

  • Hourly Range: $15-18
