Use proprietary software and SAP ERP systems to virtually transact material. Document system issues, process flaws and inefficiencies. Communicating with quality control, purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems. Efficiently move material between sites, both physically and virtually. Identify training needs for the team and assist in the training of new-hires and junior peers. Meet safety, productivity and quality standards by following best practices. Resolve individual work blockers and knowing when to escalate if you are unable to resolve yourself. Learn new processes. Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts. Contribute to the improvement of SOPs including safety procedures. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have 1 year of relevant experience either as an Associate Planner or Associate Buyer. They must be highly organized, self-starting, and comfortable with business software, such as Excel. The successful candidate must be flexible, possess good written and oral communication skills, be team-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines while working on several projects simultaneously. Required Skills: They must be comfortable with business software, such as Excel. Manager is looking for someone who has experience with SAP but it is preferred.
