The Inventory controller oversees inventory
Job Description
- Manages our inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments, and stock levels
- Examine the levels of supplies and material to determine shortages
- Use reliable forecasting methods
- Design and arrange inventoryto maximize the efficient use of space
- Work with the Warehouse Supervisor on the proper storage location
- Identify, investigate, and resolve inconsistencies with inventory
- Minimize inventory loss by conducting quarterly inventory audits
- Notify the operations manager and VP of Sales of excess stock
- Be an expert on all colors, products, and their location
- Monitor inventory tracking system to determine reorder points and slabs on hold
- Assist with loading and unloading incoming freight/products following established safety protocols
- Inspect and verify all slab numbers and quantities and perform quality checks for cracks and discolorations
- Print all corresponding slab tags for new slabs, apply labels, and ensure the slab is safely stored in the correct location
- Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
- Adherence to health and safety regulations
- Conduct weekly cycle counts on sinks. Report any adjustments to the Operations Manager
- Compliance with health and safety regulations, OSHA programs and company policies, procedures
- Perform other duties to support the companys goals and mission.
Minimum Qualifications
- Organizational skills and attention to detail

- Strong problem-solving
- Data analysis
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Manufacturing and Granite experience preferred
- Experience working with inventory management systems
- Experience conducting tracking and data analysis

- Day shift 7 am - 4 pm (may fluctuate based on operational needs)

Physical Demands
To perform the essential functions of this role, you must be able to:
-Stand for long periods.
-Bend at the knees and waist.
-Regularly lift and move up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and move 50 lbs. (or more with assistance)
-Regularly push and pull objects, push carts, and other equipment.
