A Day in the Life of a Sales Consultant:

  • Create insurance quotes for prospective clients over the phone and in person
  • Ensure all of our clients have an amazing experience

1) What kind of training will I receive?

We provide A-to-Z training through a combination of sessions from the District Office and in-agency support. You'll gain a deep understanding of the Farmers platform, products, sales techniques, and best practices.


2) Is prior insurance sales experience required?

No! If you're motivated, have sales experience, and are willing to get licensed, you don't need any prior knowledge about insurance.


3) Will I need to find or purchase my own leads?

Nope! We'll provide leads and prospects for you to contact. There are never any out-of-pocket expenses.


4) What is the company culture like?

Requirements
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Engage clients in conversations about various types of insurance coverages
  • Advocate for clients by asking thoughtful, in-depth questions that help uncover their needs and shape their future protection
  • Resolve client concerns by leveraging carrier resources and support tools
  • Recommend suitable coverage solutions to clients once licensed
  • Collaborate in a team-focused environment dedicated to exceeding the expectations of agents, advisors, clients, and leadership
