Location: Los Angeles, CA About the Opportunity: A respected Los Angeles-based litigation firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to handle a wide range of insurance defense matters in a collaborative environment with hybrid work flexibility. Key Responsibilities: Manage all phases of insurance defense litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation. Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations. Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents. Provide clients with timely updates and strategic recommendations to achieve favorable outcomes. Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) and active California Bar membership. 25+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation (auto, premises liability, general liability, or similar areas). Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to manage a caseload independently and work in a team-oriented environment. Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
