Looking for confident and experienced inpatient pharmacy technicians for an opportunity to work with one of the top hospital systems in California! Description: - Performs pharmaceutical procedures for medication preparation and distribution that ensures safe, effective, and cost efficient medication therapy. - Exercises sound judgment, and developed clinical skills to provide pharmaceutical support to the patient's plan of care based on the diagnosis in a timely manner. - Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety. - May also be responsible for performing specific tasks and/or orient other staff to the department. Skills: + California Pharmacy technician certification / Cpht + Filling prescriptions + IV experience (preferred but not required) + inpatient pharmacy experience REQUIRED + Data entry + Customer service + Order entry Qualifications: + Experience within inpatient pharmacy setting + IV experience, highly preferred - not required + looking for a confident pharmacy technician that can come in with their inpatient experience and hit the ground running. + Must possess a current California State Board of Pharmacy Tech License + Must possess CPR/BLS verification through the American Heart Association Experience Level: Intermediate Level Diversity, Equity & Inclusion At Actalent, diversity and inclusion are a bridge towards the equity and success of our people.
