Job Type : Full TimeLocation : Beaufort, South CarolinaPay : Good pay and benefits! Job Description What you will be doing: Maintenance Technician
  • Perform all repairs and preventative maintenance on production milling equipment.
  • Handle equipment including mixers, mills, pumps, filters, pneumatic compressors, and more.
  • Execute strenuous physical work, including lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in extreme temperatures, indoors and outdoors.
  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal functionality of machinery.
  • Diagnose and address mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components of milling equipment.
  • Perform basic electrical installations and upgrades as needed.
  • Conduct welding and fabrication tasks for repair or modification of equipment components.
  • Ensure all welding work meets industry standards for safety and quality.
  • Analyze equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with other department teams to identify and resolve root causes of issues.
  • Utilize web-based applications for equipment monitoring, data analysis, and maintenance scheduling.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies for enhancing equipment monitoring and diagnostics.
  • Use Microsoft Suite for documentation, reporting, and communication.
  • Update and maintain detailed maintenance records and reports.
  • Employ strong analytical skills to assess equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Implement data-driven strategies to enhance overall equipment reliability.
  • Obtain a wastewater certification within 14 months of hire date.
  • Attend training courses, both locally and nationally.
  • Perform other assigned tasks as required.
Experience you will need: Maintenance Technician
  • 2 to 5 years experience as an Industrial maintenance technician
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic electrical knowledge, welding and fabrication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in web-based applications and Microsoft Suite for equipment monitoring and documentation.
  • Experience in handling chemicals and understanding of hazardous materials.
