HVAC Technician II (Night Shift)

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have attended schooling for a specific trade or possess 4-6 years of experience in a relevant field. The HVAC Technician II will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various systems and equipment in accordance with BioMerieux policies and procedures.
Primary Duties
·
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems. ·
Diagnose and repair mechanical issues to ensure optimal performance of equipment. ·
Ensure compliance with safety standards and BioMerieux policies and procedures. ·
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs. ·
Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex issues and improve operational efficiency. ·
Attend and complete required schooling and certification programs for specific trades. ·
Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. ·
Conduct safety training and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries. ·
Stay up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations related to maintenance ·
Prioritize projects and daily requests, assigning them to internal teams or external resources. ·
Perform other duties as assigned. Supplemental Data ·

Training, Education, Experience HVAC: ·
Gas certifications (RMGA Certification required) ·
Universal refrigeration type universal license (EPA608 Required) ·
NATE certifications are preferred ·
4-6 years’ Commercial experience HVAC required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ·
Journey out by attending schooling for a specific trade or 4-6 years of experience in a relevant field. ·
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. ·
Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ·
Excellent communication and organizational skills. ·
Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment. ·
Commitment to safety and continuous learning.
Working Conditions ·
Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods. ·
Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like. ·
Ability to wear PPE correctly most of the day. ·
Ability to adjust or move objects up to 50 pounds in all directions ·
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks. ·
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise.
