Job Title: Service and Start-up Technician Job Description The Service and Start-up Technician is responsible for reviewing project installations and handling start-up and commissioning tasks. This role involves verifying and documenting the proper operation, maintenance, repair, and testing of various HVAC equipment, including packaged rooftop units, split systems (DX/gas-fired/hot water/chilled water/steam), direct/indirect fired make-up air units, energy recovery systems, VAV/VVT/VRF systems, pumps, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, refrigeration, and all ancillary components of these systems. Responsibilities Service and troubleshoot HVAC systems, rooftop units, make-up air units, split systems, boilers, chillers, mini-splits, exhaust fans, and air rotation units. Start new equipment including the aforementioned systems. Collaborate effectively with customers and general contractors. Utilize computer skills to complete tasks. Fill out start-up sheets accurately and comprehensively. Essential Skills 5+ years of HVAC service and/or commissioning experience on commercial and industrial equipment. Competency in using basic hand tools, gauges, voltmeters, multimeters, etc. (vacuum pumps are provided). EPA Universal certification is required. Aerial lift certification is required. Additional Skills & Qualifications OSHA 10 certification is nice to have. Why Work Here?
