Purpose and Scope of Position
The HR Generalist is responsible for biweekly payroll, benefits enrollments administration, responsible for the preparation and processing of all payroll, payroll reporting, and responding to inquiries regarding payroll from both employees and managers. This position is also responsible for the administration of all benefits provided to our employees to include PTO, Health Insurance, 401K, Life Insurance, Dental and Vision plans. The role includes generalist duties, I-9 processing, clearance processing, engagement, development, training assignments, and a ton of organization and tracking.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Process bi-weekly payroll for up to 400 employees, multi-state and multi-location. Including Canadian bi-weekly payroll.
• Responsible for benefit administration for all employees at various locations.
• Working with the company’s brokers, distribute all Summary Plan Descriptions and update Benefits-at-a-Glance as needed for self-insured company.
• Review, coordinate, and administer entire OE Process
• Oversee outsourced COBRA solution and prepare all termination letters for company.
• Prepare and process all invoices for various healthcare expenditures
tracking headcounts for cross reference; reconcile health plan monthly invoicing
• File life insurance and LTD claims.
• File all 5500s annually.
• In coordination with TPA, prepare Section 125 Non-Discrimination Testing documentation.
• Create and manage health and wellness programs; all-inclusive multi-state remote locations.
• Coordinate annual flu shot clinics at multiple locations
• Responsible for 401K annual and interim testing
• Scheduling 401K quarterly meetings and financial education seminars
• File annual Affirmative Action Plan, EEO-1, and VETS 100 reports
• Administer and manage the Service Award Program
• Oversee the E-Verify process
Process on boarding, off boarding, clearance initiation and ending clearances.

Minimum Qualifications
• Associates Degree at minimum
• Minimum 1 years’ experience with payroll processing and benefits administration
• An infectiously positive attitude.
• High degree of personal accountability.
• Strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
• Demonstrated ability to perform, and history of thriving, in a team environment.
• Fluent in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
