HR Assistant
The human resources assistant will play a key role in supporting the HR department, assisting the Vice President of Human Resources with HR initiatives. Also, this role will focus on managing recruitment processes, helping to onboard new hires, and providing administrative support to the HR team. Additionally, the assistant will coordinate wellness activities, trainings, and employee events while ensuring smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees the recruiting process.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new employees, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
- Welcome visitors, onboard new hires, and answer employee questions
- Plan company events, wellness activities, and trainings
- Maintain employee handbooks and company policies.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of recruiting experience. (Preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to maintain a professional, courteous demeanor in all interactions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Recruiting, HR, customer service, or related fields. (Preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit for 8 hours a day.
- Ability to alternate between sitting and standing.
- Ability to perform fine manipulation such as typing for 8 hours.
Work Environment:
- Office setting.
- Warehouse production setting in the back with occasionally loud environment when multiple machines are running.
- When entering the laboratory setting must follow GMP compliance such as a hairnet, beard net for any facial hair, lab coat, long pants, and closed toed shoes.
- Facial piercings must be removable when in the lab.
