Position Overview The Housekeeping Support Staff plays a vital role in assisting Supervisors and Housekeepers in achieving quality and efficiency. This position requires adherence to the company's mission and values. Essential Functions: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization. Stock and organize storage closets to ensure supply availability. Assist with changing out soiled linens as directed. Remove used linens and trash from guest units. Prepare linen and supply bags as needed. Deliver linens and supplies to designated units. Inspect assigned buildings or floors for cleanliness and organization. Report maintenance issues in accordance with company procedures. Handle lost and found items per the company’s protocol. Move furniture as instructed. Operate the company vehicle, ensuring it is maintained properly. Ensure a safe working environment at all times. Be flexible and willing to perform various duties as assigned. Maintain a sense of urgency to ensure timely turnaround of units. Be punctual and prompt in all assignments. Use supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively. Assist with inventory counts for linens and supplies as directed. Address guest complaints swiftly and effectively. Foster strong, positive relations with customers. Assist resort guests and owners as needed. Stay informed about resort services and amenities. Occasionally make guest deliveries as instructed. Qualifications: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds (with or without accommodations). Ability to make sound decisions, plan, and schedule effectively. Read, write, and perform basic math tasks competently. A strong work ethic, passion for cleanliness, and adaptability to learn and change behavior are essential. Must also be able to work irregular hours and travel rarely as required.
