Housekeeping - Full Time, Walt Disney World at Walt Disney World Resort summary: Housekeepers at Walt Disney World Resort ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and exceptional guest service by cleaning guest rooms, replenishing amenities, and responding to guest requests using technology. The role involves physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing while maintaining safety protocols. Housekeepers have passion and dedication for creating magic for our Guests during their Walt Disney World® Resort stays by ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness & outstanding Guest Service! The Housekeeper cleans Guest rooms, including stripping and making beds, cleaning floors, dusting, and replenishing items such as linens and amenities. We also monitor work orders, use technology to respond to Guest requests, and report maintenance needs. The pay rate for this role in Florida is $22.00 per hour. To learn more about our benefits visit: Basic Qualifications : Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role Minimum 2 years of full-service or resorts Housekeeping experience Speak and read English to communicate with Guests Perform all job responsibilities safely using PPE and within range of motion with appropriate tools Prolonged standing and walking to multiple areas of the resort to access and clean rooms, including climbing stairs Physical role requiring repetitive heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending twisting, and kneeling Full-Time requires full availability for any time-of-day, any day, including nights, weekends, and holidays
