Hotel Guest Service Representative - Part-Time

We are currently looking for a part-time guest service representative to join our front desk team at Comfort Suites-Near Universal Orlando Resort, located at 5617 Major Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32819. Our suites offer 25% more space than a traditional hotel room and are conveniently located near top attractions including SeaWorld, Universal's Islands of Adventure, and Aquatica. A daily complimentary breakfast is offered to all guests. This position is part of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by Buffalo Lodging Associates, an award-winning hotel management company.

Job Description

The guest service representative/front desk agent is the face of the hotel, providing superior service to all guests. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests, completing the check-in/check-out procedure through the property management system while obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handling cash, credit card information, and goods at the property.
• Identifying the needs of each guest and providing relevant information regarding the hotel services and amenities to create an accommodating environment for all. Responding to all guest requests in a timely manner.
• Taking reservations from incoming callers while providing excellence in service and inputting all information into the hotel management system. Updating and canceling reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
• This is a part-time position requiring flexibility to work different shifts (mornings and afternoons) and weekend availability. Offering 16 to 24 hours a week, depending on the needs of the hotel. Starting rate of pay: $16.25.

What you bring:

• Hotel front desk and customer service experience in a hotel setting preferred.
• Choice Hotel system experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred.
