CDL A Owner Operator Driver Job Opening. H - Hazardous Materials Endorsement. TWIC Card Endorsement. We are seeking dedicated and skilled Owner Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely to our client's warehouse, local ports, and our terminal in Jacksonville, FL. This role requires a commitment to safety, adherence to traffic regulations, and the ability to work well with others within our supply chain.

Duties

Operate commercial vehicle Class-A (Semi Truck) Safely transport freight to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Intermodal operation (port work) Securing containers and setting up refer units. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage logs and fuel usage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class- A Ability to get a hazmat endorsement and TWIC 2 years of consecutive experience driving a semi (Class-A) with a fifth wheel Working knowledge of Intermodal trucking operations Familiarity with various types of trailers (containers, dry-vans, and refrigerated units). Clean MVR, Clearinghouse, PSP, background and pass a drug screening. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to communicate (read and write) effectively in English. Ability to work independently Commitment to maintaining a safe driving record and following all safety regulations.

In order to run under our authority, Forward Facing Camera will be installed on all trucks.
