JOB OVERVIEW:

At Happy Everything! by Coton Colors, our Retail Store Associates are the face of the brand-welcoming guests with warmth, joy, and a spirit of celebration. This role is responsible for creating memorable in-store experiences through exceptional customer service, knowledgeable product guidance, and a commitment to hospitality. Associates help maintain the store's cheerful, polished appearance, support inventory and operational tasks, and serve as enthusiastic brand ambassadors. By living out our core values, they play a vital role in connecting customers to moments worth celebrating.Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Sales Greet each customer warmly and enthusiastically to ensure a welcoming environment. Assist customers with product selections and provide knowledgeable suggestions based on their needs. Communicate product stories and brand values to enhance the customer experience. Accurately process transactions using the POS system and follow proper cash handling procedures.

Store Maintenance & Presentation Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor. Replenish and merchandise product displays to ensure alignment with visual standards. Participate in daily and weekly cleaning duties to ensure the store meets brand expectations.

Inventory Management Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise deliveries. Accurately tag, stock, and organize inventory. Help with periodic inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels on the floor.

Operational Support Comply with all company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards. Assist with opening and closing duties as scheduled. Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive store culture.

Brand Representation Demonstrate deep product knowledge and uphold brand messaging across all customer interactions. Exhibit professionalism, courtesy, and a sense of fun at all times. Reflect the core values of Coton Colors in appearance, attitude, and performance.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Prior retail and/or sales experience strongly preferred. Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak retail seasons. Key Competencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to maintain a positive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Physical ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 35 lbs. Enthusiastic, adaptable, and eager to learn. Team player who supports a collaborative work environment. Reliable and punctual.
