Grill Cook

We are looking for a dedicated Grill Cook responsible for preparing and grilling food to meet specific customer preferences. You will also handle tasks in other areas of the kitchen in addition to your grill station, ensuring the highest quality in food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and grill foods according to customer preferences.
• Handle tasks in various areas of the kitchen beyond the grill station.
• Keep track of meal prep components to ensure timely completion of final dishes.
• Chop and prepare vegetables and other non-meat ingredients.
• Stock ingredients and kitchen supplies.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workstation.
• Check perishable ingredients and food items for freshness.
• Take daily measures to prevent food cross-contamination.

Essential Skills

• Experience in food service and working with an industrial grill.
• Ability to determine the correct temperature of food.
• Proficiency in following instructions and working as a line cook.
• Experience in food preparation and dishwashing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have a food handler's card.
• Ability to work some weekends from 2 pm to 10:30 pm.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Spanish speakers are also encouraged to apply.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
