Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, with roles supporting grades K-5, 6-8, 9-12, and high school levels. This contract position is located in Nampa, ID, and runs from January 2026 to June 2026. The role offers a professional environment focused on supporting diverse learners within self-contained classrooms, resource rooms, and special day classrooms.

Qualifications:

  • Active State Teaching License in Special Education
  • Experience working with K-12 students across self-contained, resource, or special day classroom settings
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset to work effectively with students, families, and school staff

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the individual needs of students from grades K-12
  • Manage caseloads consisting of self-contained, resource, and special day classroom students
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student development and learning objectives
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic growth and social-emotional wellbeing

Additional Details:

  • Contract Duration: January 2026 through June 2026
  • Weekly Hours: 30 to 37.5 hours, 5 days per week
  • Competitive pay rate starting at $36 per hour
