Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is ideal for a dedicated professional with experience across multiple educational levels, including early childhood through high school. This role is based in Oroville, CA, and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student communication development in a dynamic school setting. Responsibilities:
* Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and communication disorders in students from Pre-K through high school. * Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs. * Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. * Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. * Provide guidance and education to staff and families regarding speech and language development.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
* Valid California state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. * Experience working with students across a range of grade levels, including Pre-K, elementary (K-5), middle school (grades 6-8), and high school (grades 9-12). * Strong knowledge of early childhood speech and language development. * Ability to design and implement effective speech therapy interventions. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
