As the Global Head of Procurement – Digitalization & Controls across our New Apparatus, Service, and Nuclear product lines, you’ll report directly to the Head of Procurement. This position is pivotal and provides excellent insight to Executive Management. You will lead the “Global Support” team, offering strategic insight and operational influence across a groundbreaking, international business. How You’ll Make an Impact Lead & Develop a Global Team: Inspire and mentor an international team of approximately 10 professionals, bringing together diverse skills and perspectives.
Drive Procurement Excellence Across Regions: Support bids and project execution from headquarters to six regions—spanning 20+ countries—working closely with local procurement and bid teams to fuel business growth and meet our ‘Contribution to Growth’ (CTG) goals.
Accelerate Cost & Margin Initiatives: Partner with local buyers, commodity managers, and engineering teams to spearhead negotiations and optimize global Frame Agreements, ensuring we achieve our ‘Contribution to Net Income’ (CNI) targets.
Champion Supply Chain Resilience: Monitor and mitigate risks across the CD&NUC supply chain, collaborating with customers from procurement to engineering to ensure seamless operations.
Elevate Supplier Partnerships & Quality: Lead global Supplier Engagement and Quality Management programs, ensuring flawless execution and continuous improvement from strategic suppliers worldwide.
Lead Strategic Initiatives: Identify and drive projects that strengthen procurement, improve supplier performance, elevate operational efficiency, and support growth and margin priorities.
What You Bring A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
Significant experience in senior procurement roles , with both strategic and operational depth.
Proven leadership with 5+ years managing teams , especially across diverse, global contexts.
Strong commercial and contract negotiation capabilities, spanning complex services and solutions.
A practical grasp of contract law , applied within procurement.
Experience with Electrical, Automation, or Controls suppliers is a bonus.
Sharp analytical skills : ability to analyze data, extract insights, and make impactful decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills across cultures and levels.
A track record of delivering results through collaboration in complex, matrixed environments.
The role will require 20%-30% domestic and international travel.
