Role Description This is a full time on-site role for a General Manager with a Personal Training focus, located in Baltimore, MD. The General Manager will oversee daily operations, manage personal training services, develop and implement fitness programs, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, oversight of group fitness classes, maintaining facility standards, and handling member inquiries and concerns. We are seeking a hands-on General Manager that loves working with people, has a strong fitness operations background and is ready to grow a community driven business.

What You Will Do: Staff Leadership & Scheduling Hire, train, schedule and manage front desk staff Cover minimum 15 hours per week Serve as back up coverage in cases of emergency staffing gaps Conduct monthly staff communications Membership Sales & Administration Respond promptly to prospect information requests Implement creative strategies for membership retention and engagement Process membership cancellations and freezes Personal Training Program Rebuild, manage and grow the personal training program by training and mentoring trainers Engage with personal training clients to measure success Track and report personal training revenue and trainer performance Facility Operations & Cleanliness Proactively monitor the cleanliness and presentation of the club, including janitorial oversight Monitor and arrange facility and equipment repairs through approved vendors Ensure all safety and maintenance standards are upheld Financial & Reporting Manage payroll, scheduling and operational expenses within budget Deliver accurate monthly performance and financial reports (training provided) Support ownership in financial forecasting and revenue growth planning Community & Marketing Represent the gym in the local community, building relationships with businesses, corporate partners, and community organizations Support and activate marketing and promotional initiatives

What We Are Looking For: 3+ years in management (personal training preferred) Proven success growing and managing personal training teams Strong sales and customer service skills Experience in personal training and fitness program development Customer service and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Relevant certifications such as CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) is preferred

Compensation: BASE SALARY Annual salary: $50,000 – $60,000 , depending on experience. OTE Range: $64K–$84K+ annually Paid biweekly.

MEMBERSHIP REVENUE BONUS: $6K–$12K/year (with growth) Based on quarterly performance in these areas: Revenue growth Membership increase Retention

PERSONAL TRAINING REVENUE BONUS: $4K–$8K/year (with growth) Based on quarterly performance in these areas: Revenue growth Programming growth

GENERAL PERFORMANCE BONUS: $4K/year Based on quarterly review across these areas: Facility condition & cleanliness Timeliness of equipment/building repairs Member feedback & reviews (survey scores, Google ratings) Staffing, training, and retention Compliance & safety

TOTAL ON-TARGET EARNINGS Base Salary: $50K–$60K Membership Bonus: $6K–$12K/year (with growth) PT Bonus: $4K–$8K/year (with growth) Performance Bonus: $4K/year OTE Range: $64K–$84K+ annually
