Furniture Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate - Candidates without furniture delivery/moving/assembling experience will not be considered.

Sheffield Furniture is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Furniture Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate to join our team. This vital role is so much more than working in our luxury furniture showroom and delivery furniture - it's about creating exceptional experiences for our clients.

The Furniture Delivery Driver and Warehouse Associate will do more than just deliver furniture! The driver will be responsible for carefully handling, installing, and occasionally repairing a wide range of high-end furniture, bedding, and rugs. The driver will work directly with the interior designers, assist clients in their homes, and help ensure each furniture delivery is seamless from start to finish. This is not a "drop and go" job as our white-glove delivery team plays a vital role in maintaining the premium service standards Sheffield Furniture & Interiors is known for.

Th Furniture Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver will occasionally support at our Malvern furniture showroom (such as helping with floor redesigns), as well as warehouse and general maintenance tasks as needed. Flexibility, a strong work ethic, dependability, and a "can-do" attitude are essential - we're a team that pitches in wherever it's needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, transport, and install a variety of furniture, rugs, and bedding in client homes
  • Perform minor touch-ups and repairs to furniture when needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with clients
  • Assist in furniture showroom maintenance and redesign projects
  • Support general warehouse operations and facility upkeep
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues independently with good judgment and common sense

What We're Looking For:

  • Prior experience in in-home Furniture delivery and installation (required)
  • Excellent customer service skills and a client-first mindset
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot and resolve issues proactively
  • Patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to lift and maneuver heavy furniture safely and efficiently
  • Clean driving record: no CDL required, but a valid medical DOT card is (company will cover the cost)
  • Comfortable driving a 22-26 ft box truck
  • Must pass a background check (we service high-end residential clients)
  • Ability to lead a team and represent Sheffield Furniture with integrity and warmth

Schedule & Travel:

  • Full-time: Tuesday-Saturday (40-50 hours/week)
  • 1-2 overnight trips per month (typically Friday-Saturday) to service clients in the DC area
  • Regular routes include the Main Line, Philadelphia suburbs, Northern Delaware, and South Jersey
  • Seasonal travel to beach communities in NJ and DE; occasional trips to New York and the Poconos
