Join Our Team as a Full-Time Retail Store Associate! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to become part of our team as a Full-Time Retail Store Associate. In this role, you will be crucial in enhancing the shopping experience by merchandising, stocking products, assisting customers, and keeping our store in excellent condition. Position Type: Full-Time Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour Wage Increases: Year 2 - $19.00 | Year 3 - $19.50 | Year 4 - $19.50 | Year 5 - $20.50 Key Responsibilities: You will play a vital role in our store operations, with duties including: Exemplifying the ALDI Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) in everything you do. Processing customer purchases and assisting them during their shopping experience. Maintaining a clean and organized store environment through general cleaning duties. Collaborating effectively with team members and communicating with management. Providing valuable feedback regarding products, inventory, and general store issues. Participating in inventory counts and monitoring product accuracy. Adhering to cash handling policies to minimize losses. Following all company policies while ensuring the security of documents and data. Embracing other duties as assigned to contribute to the team's success. Physical Demands: Ability to stock shelves and place products weighing up to 45 pounds at various heights. Regularly required to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store. Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor. Able to operate a cash register accurately and efficiently. Familiarity with operating equipment like electric/manual hand jacks and floor scrubbers is preferred. Ability to perform general cleaning duties to meet company standards. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Capable of working independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and organized approach to tasks. Must meet any state and local requirements for selling alcoholic beverages. Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
