You will help maintain store cleanliness, uphold safety standards for pets, and care for the store’s pets. Key Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service to pet parents in-store and online. Greet pet parents and address their inquiries throughout the store. Prepare online orders for in-store pick-up, ensuring an efficient experience. Care for store-owned pets by feeding, watering, and cleaning their habitats. Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the store. Assist with weekly price adjustments and monthly promotional changes. Organize and stock new products on the sales floor. Promote and sell merchandise, services, and live pets. Administer medications to store pets as directed by veterinarians. Support special events such as adoption weekends and charity events. Foster a safe environment for associates, pets, and customers. Take quick action in dealing with sick or injured pets in the store. Assist in various store areas as needed. Engage in initiatives promoting belonging and recognition. Abide by all company policies and procedures. Qualifications Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexible schedule; willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. Essential Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and use hands efficiently—frequently required to reach, stoop, kneel, talk, and hear. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally team lift over 100 pounds. Exposure to moving mechanical parts and a wet environment filled with pet hair.
