Job Summary As a Retail Sales Representative, you will be responsible for ensuring merchandise protection procedures, monitoring entrance and exit activity, and providing top-notch customer service to our members. Your Responsibilities: Carry out job functions assigned to you, supporting the application of club policies, procedures, and compliance. Strive for flawless execution and hold yourself accountable. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Provide excellent member service by greeting, assisting, and appreciating each member in a prompt and professional manner. Resolve any member concerns promptly, escalating issues as necessary. Maintain a clear understanding of merchandise protection and shrink alert protocols. Review and uphold the AP Alert Binder in accordance with AP standards. Follow BEST procedures (bottom of the cart, electronics, self-checkout, and thanking the member), which includes checking merchandise against member register receipts for high-value items. Audit transactions related to Express Pay, BOPIC, Curbside Pick-up, and Same Day Delivery as per company procedures. Ensure compliance with repack awareness guidelines through inspections of known repack products. Monitor member and visitor traffic entering and exiting the club. Respond to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alarms following established protocols. Maintain safety standards for all members and team members. Inspect bags and personal belongings while ensuring a respectful approach. Process empty water jug return vouchers for members. Adhere to all club policies and procedures. Willingly perform other duties as assigned, which may include helping in other departments. Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. Qualifications: Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential. Basic math skills are preferred. Ability to utilize smart handheld devices is required. Must successfully complete required training and certification processes. Must be employed with the company for a minimum of six months. At least 18 years of age. Working Conditions: Most of the time will be spent standing and moving about on hard surfaces. Role requires bending, pulling, reaching, stooping, and climbing ladders or step stools at times. May require occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs. Exposure to both indoor and outdoor temperatures. In accordance with Pay Transparency requirements, the estimated compensation range for this position is $16.75 to $20.10, depending on various factors including location, education, experience, and qualifications.
