You'll also help maintain a clean, safe store environment and provide direct care for the pets in our store. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional service to pet parents in-store, over the phone, and online. Greet customers, answer inquiries, and assist with purchases. Manage online order preparations for in-store pickup, ensuring a smooth experience. Care for store-owned pets by ensuring a clean and healthy habitat. Maintain cleanliness standards throughout the store. Assist with pricing changes and product displays. Promote products, services, and upcoming events like adoption weekends. Ensure a safe environment for associates, pets, and customers. Take immediate action when a pet is sick or injured, including transport to the vet when necessary. Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Flexible schedule, willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Able to maintain composure under pressure. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, and climb ladders as needed. Frequent reaching, stooping, kneeling, and lifting of up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting over 100 pounds with assistance. Work environment may include exposure to moving parts, wet areas, and moderate to high noise levels.
