Schedule: 4 Days per Week (flexibility on days),10:00 AM 8:00 PM + 2 Sundays per Month

Compensation: Based on experience

Overview

Our client, a refined and long-established household in Greenwich, CT, is seeking a dedicated, full-time, live-out Housekeeper to join their exceptional domestic team. This is an opportunity to work in a formal and traditionally furnished 8,000 square foot home on 8 acres of park-like grounds. The principals have a deep appreciation for American antiques, antique silver, and traditional New England elegance. They are seeking a professional and experienced Housekeeper to support their Executive Housekeeper of 30 yearsa highly valued and dynamic presence in the home. The ideal candidate will be respectful, discreet, intelligent, and able to learn quickly. The position is intended for someone who can seamlessly integrate into the existing team and, in time, take on increased responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the Executive Housekeeper to maintain an immaculate home to the highest standards
• Daily dusting, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, scrubbing, and general upkeep of the home
• Laundry and ironing, with careful attention to fine garments and linens
• Provide formal lunch and dinner service when the principals entertain.
• Flower arranging and rotating fresh florals in the home from the garden

Position Requirements:

• 5 + years of experience in formal, traditional households with knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, service, and etiquette
• Strong laundry and ironing skills are essential
• Intelligent, resourceful, and attentive to detail
• Polished in demeanor, professional in appearance, and genuinely respectful
• Must be fluent in English and authorized to legally work in the United States
• Strong references from previous long-term roles in a similar setting

Note: No pets currently in the home, though a small dog occasionally visits when the daughter is in residence.
