In addition to its signature collection chocolates and limited-edition holiday flavors, Norman Love Confections offers an extensive variety of innovative novelty products, gelato, signature pastry, signature bakery, coffee, and a wide selection of seasonal specialties. Norman Love Confections, which is based in Fort Myers, currently operates seven Chocolate Salons located in Lee, Collier, Sarasota and Palm Beach County. About the Assistant Store Manager Role: An ideal candidate will have prior management experience in a café, coffee shop, counter service, food service or retail environment. At Norman Love Confections our knowledgeable staff is expected to provide our customers with a high level of service in a boutique, intimate environment. Our locations operate seven days a week from 8:00am-8:00pm. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Customer Service: · Responsible for identifying ways to continually enhance the customer experience within the retail operations by ensuring that we are exceeding the customers' expectations in terms of product selection / availability, product placement and knowledgeable, engaging employees. ·Responsible to directly manage all customer complaints, issues or feedback obtained through our retail operations. · Responsible for ensuring that the customer and their experience remain the top priority to you, your leadership team and your employees both when you are present and in your absence. Business Operations: · Responsible for holding a Serve Safe Certification. · Responsible for maintaining cleanliness standards throughout the stores. · Responsible for maintaining inventory management systems to ensure we are offering the freshest products while minimizing waste. · Responsible to ensure that the store opening / closing procedures are accurately completed to the company's standards on days and time when the Store Manager is and is not present.
