Average Hours: 38 hours per week
Starting Wage: $26.50 per hour
Wage Increase: Year 2 - $27.50 per hour
Duties and Responsibilities Assists the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve operating results
Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports
Identifies training and development opportunities to enhance direct reports’ performance
Supports the company strategy and models core values to foster teamwork
Monitors the competitive environment and informs leadership of necessary adjustments
Provides product feedback and makes recommendations on items to carry or discontinue
Participates in interviewing for store personnel
Communicates information including weekly updates, milestones, developments, and concerns
Ensures adherence to inventory procedures, product handling, and cash control policies to minimize losses
Resolves operational customer concerns in the absence of the direct leader
Identifies and rectifies hazards, maintains equipment, and ensures proper ergonomics
Maintains store cleanliness and proper signage
Assists with stock levels through product ordering and merchandising
Ensures quality, freshness, and accurate signage of products
Assists with payroll, loss prevention, inventory counts, and training of new employees
Supervises day-to-day team operations and escalates issues as needed
Ensures direct reports complete responsibilities timely to provide high-level customer service
Complies with company policies and maintains data security and confidentiality
Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands Stocking merchandise from receiving to shelving; capable of placing items weighing up to 45 pounds on shelves at various heights
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations

Meets state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment
A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
Prior management experience preferred
