Cottonwood Distribution, a proud family-owned business with roots dating back 60 years. We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise while maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, the ability to lift heavy objects, and works well in a fast-paced team setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pulls product as requested by the customers.
  • Ensures pulled items are picked up on time.
  • Organizes orders with appropriate labels for delivery.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensures all products are picked correctly.
  • Works independently and in team settings.
  • Flexible schedule across a Sunday through Saturday workweek.
  • Safety-sensitive position
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience with forklifts, swings, and other heavy warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to work in multiple temperature environments, including general warehouse areas, refrigerated and/or freezer areas with subzero temperatures.
  • Ability to handle deadlines and interruptions in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Good math skills.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and write.
