In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen area and ensuring efficient dishwashing operations. Key Responsibilities: Effectively wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and other small wares. Maintain cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area. Assist with kitchen deliveries, focusing on proper storage, organization, and product rotation. Arrive on time, well-groomed, and prepared for scheduled shifts and mandatory trainings/meetings. Deliver excellent customer service, promptly addressing customer needs and utilizing suggestive selling techniques. Maximize sales potential through efficient prepping, storing, and merchandising of products. Comply with established procedures, including health and safety regulations and sanitation practices. Ensure a clean and safe working and shopping environment; maintain equipment according to cleanliness and safety standards. Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensure the accuracy of signage and pricing. Report safety hazards and violations immediately; perform other duties as assigned by leadership. Stand or walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour work shift. Perform hand tasks such as grasping, manipulation, pushing, and pulling. Engage in physical motions including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures, including 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Capacity to work in wet and dry conditions, with a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to safely use tools and equipment, including knives, electric pallet jacks, and other machinery. May require the use of ladders.
