Our client, a leading retail optical store, is seeking a Front Desk / Technician (Retail) to join their team. As a Front Desk / Technician (Retail), you will be part of the customer service and clinical support team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a dedication to providing outstanding patient care, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Front Desk / Technician (Retail)
Location: Atlantis, FL
Pay Range: $15-$17 per hour
What's the Job?
Provide front desk support by greeting patients and ensuring a positive experience
Verify insurance and handle payments accurately and professionally
Assist with patient pre-testing and gather medical history information
Support the dispensing of eyewear and contacts, including minor adjustments
Maintain examination equipment and keep detailed records during eye examinations
What's Needed?
One to two years of experience in retail, customer service, or optical retail
Intermediate computer skills and familiarity with healthcare terminology preferred
Strong communication skills to engage with diverse clients
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Organizational skills and the ability to support change management
