Job Highlights
- Prepare and assemble patient meals, ensuring timely, accurate tray setup and safe delivery to nursing units
- Support food service operations, including cafeteria setup, cashier duties, and catered events, while providing courteous customer service
- Maintain sanitation standards by cleaning service ware, equipment, and work areas; operates dish machine and adheres to health and safety regulations
- Perform basic food prep such as making salads, desserts, and beverages; restocks cafeteria items and ensures food is stored and handled properly
- Assist patients with meal selections and performs other duties as assigned to support efficient and high-quality food service at SRAlab
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in food service is a plus, but not required
- Requires basic math skills necessary to portion proper amounts of food to patient trays, stock food stations, and handle customer transactions
- Relevant soft skills includeinterpersonal skills and attention to detail
Additional Information
- 1-3 months of on-the-job training is provided to become familiar with basic food preparation techniques and learn cafeteria procedures and department policies
