Food Service Worker II The Food Service Worker II will include the duties of FSW I with the additional responsibility of tasks related to the Diet Office and Call Center. The FSW II will assist with orders for patients. Maintain the office supplies and run reports. This position will comply with all cafeteria, food and beverage regulation guidelines outlined in the facility Food Service manual. This position includes duties related to utility, food preparation, assembly tasks, and cafeteria duties. The patients' demographics range from newborn through children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. There is minimal access to patient health information. Shift: Full Time, 40 hrs. per week Job Qualifications High School diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in food service desired Excellent customer service skills Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Follow the compliance and standards required by food/beverage regulations outlined in the facility manual Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements Effectively communicate with all staff Essential Physical Requirements Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include standing, bending, stooping, and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Stand and walk for most of the day. Must be able to withstand heat and temperature changes while going in and out of refrigerated or freezer areas.
