Responsibilities: Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads. Serve meals to residents based on their dietary needs and appropriate portion sizes. Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas to maintain a safe environment. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Engage positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service to enhance their dining experience. Perform any additional duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively within a team. Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and leadership. Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies. Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 30 pounds and push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, as well as stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods. Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously. Ability to work in close proximity to food and cleaning products.
