Cook COATI is looking for skilled and talented line cooks!!! Line cooks assist guests with placing guest orders, preparing those items and ensuring they are delivered to the guest fast! Become a part of our crew! Job duties include following recipes to specifications of Chef and Lead Prep Cook, dish washing, and maintaining kitchen health standards. Must have organizational skills, ability to follow instructions, attention to detail, and ability to function very well under pressure. We are a high volume space, so excellent teamwork is a must. Hourly: $14.42 TRAINING WAGE 13+Tips Per Hour- AVERAGES $19-22/hr Job Type: Part or Full-Time Roles and Responsibilities: Prepare a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety and quality of our food Assist in the preparation of ingredients Ensure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and presented in an attractive and appetizing manner Collaborate with other members of the kitchen team to ensure that orders are completed quickly and efficiently Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, as well as the work area, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment Assist in the development of specials, as well as the creation of prep lists and par levels Continuously seek out ways to improve our dishes, processes, and customer experience Qualifications: A passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary industry Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety and sanitation standards Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed We offer competitive pay, a supportive work environment, and ample opportunities for growth and advancement.
