We’re seeking an entrepreneurial operator to own the P&L and lead a turnaround to sustainable profitability for an intimate wine bar in Bergen County, New Jersey.

Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of the wine bar’s operations, including food production, service, and hospitality.
Manage and lead a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and standards.
Create and maintain employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop menu items and specials.
Utilize POS systems to process orders, payments, and track sales.
Qualifications
Leadership experience in restaurants, bars, or hospitality (GM/AGM/Director).
Strong grasp of P&L, scheduling, labor planning, and inventory.
Creative track record of events, programming, or marketing that lifted revenue.
Proficiency with POS, inventory, and scheduling software.
Entrepreneurial mindset, passion for hospitality, and ability to thrive in a turnaround environment.
