Food and Beverage Receiver - Part Time - Summer 2025

SUMMARY:

As a member of the Food & Beverage team, you will work closely with chefs, managers, delivery drivers, and others to unload delivery trucks, verify accuracy of invoices, ensure quality of items received, maintain inventory counts, and pickup alcoholic beverage orders.
What you'll be doing:
Receive product from purveyors and distributors, verifying invoices for accuracy.
Keep loading dock and receiving areas clear, clean, and safe
Inspect product upon delivery to ensure quality, refusing product if necessary.
Travel in company vehicle on required days to specified State Liquor Store to receive liquor, beer, and wine orders.
Apply care in loading, securing, and transporting alcohol.
Maintain and organize liquor and beer cooler.
Add new product to existing inventory by placing it in the correct location.
Actively practice FIFO (First In, First Out).
Assist kitchen in finding items.
Keep storerooms and walk-ins neat and clean.
Organize product so it can be found easily.
Assist chefs in sheet to shelf set up.
Assist with physical inventories as required.
Perform any other duties as assigned by Management
What you'll need to do the job: Must be 21 years of age or older
Must have a valid Utah driver's license.
Must be able to follow procedures and directions associated with the Snowbasin culinary, beverage, and receiving teams.
Ability to travel to Snowbasin for scheduled shifts.
Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Schedule can vary between 5am-9pm, weekends and holidays.
Repetitive Work: Must have the ability to perform the same work over and over again.
Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
Position requires frequent bending, reaching overhead, twisting, and consistent use of hands and arms.
Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift in indoor/outdoor environments.
Regularly required to talk, hear, adjust vision to both day and night lighting and be able to focus on distant and close-range projects.
Position requires handling of food and beverage products potentially containing but not limited to: dairy, gluten, wheat, soy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, garlic, onions, shellfish, or fin fish.
