As a substitute paraprofessional, you will work closely with classroom teachers to provide essential support to students with special needs, fostering both academic success and personal development. Your responsibilities will include: Providing personalized instructional assistance for individual students or small groups Helping the teacher manage classroom dynamics and ensure all students are engaged Assisting with various administrative tasks, including preparation of learning materials Supervising students in areas such as the cafeteria, schoolyard, hallways, and during field trips Attending to the physical, academic, and emotional needs of students Supporting students with special needs by implementing their IEPs/504 Plans Carrying out additional tasks as assigned by the classroom teacher and school administrators Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Strong proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) Compensation: $13-$22/hr
