Fire Sprinkler Service Technician

As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician, you will be responsible for testing, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and compliant with all applicable codes and regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of fire sprinkler systems, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on fire sprinkler systems, including inspecting and replacing sprinkler heads, valves, and other components.
Troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler system malfunctions, including leaks, faulty valves, and other issues.
Conduct flow tests and other required tests to ensure system performance.
Install and repair fire sprinkler system components as needed.
Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
Communicate effectively with customers, explaining system operation and any necessary repairs.
Maintain company vehicles and equipment in good working order.
Maintain accurate records of work performed.
Stay up to date on the latest fire sprinkler technologies, codes, and regulations.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency service.
Qualifications:
Proven 2+ years experience with knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, and related equipment. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. NICET or State certification helpful BuildingReports software experience preferred. ServiceTrade software experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work on a ladder.
Job Type:  Full-time
Pay:  $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
Schedule:  8 hour shift - Monday to Friday
