Field Service Technician

$25-$30/hr - Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro Area

Job Description

We are seeking motivated mechanics to service balers, compactors, and industrial equipment. This role involves performing repairs, maintenance, and installation of equipment, with a focus on maximizing safe and productive operations through work on hydraulics, basic electrical operations, and welding fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, diagnostic tests, preventative maintenance, and repairs on various types of compactors and other stationary equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and diagnose and repair electrical problems on equipment using both single and three-phase AC voltage.
• Read hydraulic schematics and diagnose and repair hydraulic issues on equipment.
• Complete paperwork and enter data associated with repairing relevant equipment in an accurate and timely manner.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.

Work Environment

The role involves driving a company truck around a five-state area, averaging 100 miles a day with 2-3 hours of driving. The vehicle is picked up from the shop and returned at night.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
