Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Injection Molding Service Technician to join our field service team. In this role, you will perform on-site installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of injection molding machines and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in hydraulics.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on injection molding machines. Conduct hydraulic system diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance. Install and commission new equipment at customer sites. Provide on-site technical support, ensuring equipment operates at peak efficiency. Maintain detailed service reports and communicate findings to management and customers. Travel frequently to customer locations, often on short notice.
Qualifications:
Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively. Must live within reasonable distance of a major airport.
