Role: IT Field Service Technician Location: Tracy, CA 95377 Position: 9 Month contract Pay rate: $24 /hr. on W2 (non-benefited)+ Mileage Re-imbursement Work Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 8 AM-5 PM Client: CompuCom
Note: (At times you will travel locally to client sites within driving distance and be home each night. At other times you will fly to other locations within your region. When you are flying, you will be travelling overnight from Sunday to Thursday and won't be home until the end of the week. The working days will still be Monday to Friday, even though in some cases the candidate will be traveling overnight starting Sunday. Friday would be a meeting (remote) with your team lead once you are back home)
Top 2 Skills: Electro-mechanical and printer hardware support experience
Key Responsibilities: Provide on-site electro-mechanical troubleshooting and printer hardware repair Perform break/fix support, maintenance, and equipment installations Diagnose and resolve printer hardware issues efficiently Travel overnight to client locations (Sunday-Thursday) Deliver high-quality customer service at client sites
Requirements: 2-3+ years of electro-mechanical and printer hardware support experience (required) Strong troubleshooting and break/fix experience Valid Real ID-compliant driver's license Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Reliable personal vehicle Willingness to travel overnight weekly Ability to work M-F, 8 AM-5 PM with overtime as needed
Preferred: Lexmark printer certification
